If you have an interest in conscribing/drafting a candidate this is a document you need, plus his or her own Okay, or signature on it (for MP), make sure you have a auditor lined up. No lieing, altruism is necessary. It helps to have a reason for supporting them in this venture or even as an active General (non-party nomination) nomination candidate.
I am petitioning, as a Independent or Neo Rhino (letter arrived endorsing me as the neorhino.ca Party nominee), on any case alone or with my Comedic Party I am interested, unless they have a contest or decide not to run someone in the riding. You can help by getting signatures, with Gölök Z Buday and Vancouver-Centre, make sure the (just the petition pages) are witnessed by the same person for the whole page. It's silly and bad for the environment, well waistful, but the only way. I prefer the municipal pages, much more streamlined. Anyway, they other option is to join with a demand on the form for a nomination contest in Vancouver-Centre. Also, if you can, write down who and where you got the membership info from, they think brownie points need counting, I hate bragging. As for the demand of a nomination vote in this riding and any other with the same problem, you could make requests or demands that they true to Liberty by definition in many ways, minarchists aren't shunned, it just isn't easy.
I seek it independently or NeoRhino.ca (waiting on the paper, tentative nominee), you can get signatures (same person must witness the same page of signatures however can witness what s/he collects) and/or pledge your signature and/or start an association of Voting Member and Small l Libertarians in Vancouver-Centre for My Ballot Access and campaign which can offer an auditor and raise funds for the one grand nomination fee. Check with Elections Canada on regulations, 280 members and it can qualify as a registered party.
Put my name forward for Party Leader in 2008: Stood up for freedoms, including the Liberty of Voting Members to choose their Candidate and challenge them without being coerced out of it, and many other things as a minarchist libertarian. If your at the convention I'll need someone who can say something on my behalf as a leadership Candidate, let me know if you don't mind or know something. If you decided on the convention, it would be an easier decision if they couldn't threaten no confidence votes as part of the fixed election date.

Downtown Ambassador, A Red Army, Someone With A Red Uniform On The Streets Is Never A Good Sign:

[LPC Forum (Others as well)] [LPC VC]

Regarding my rebellious Vancouver-Centre Campaign, I won't except Campaign Contributions by anything but those who can vote for me and me, but I am fiscally frugal in campaigns, so hey want to be my Auditor and aide? Take a piece of the donations as a fee, go ahead fundraise, I'll provide policy papers and maybe a video; I hate fundraisers, I recommend online. What's left goes to the Auditor contribution and split to others. My policies are not to deal with; I am not an anarchist, a centrer Libertarian without drug obsession and separate drug war (definately oppose) and drug law issues. So I may be more "mainstream" than the typical Libertarian stereotype.
Due to Alan J Mercer's assertion that individuals are too stupid to figure these things out for themselves, I am a humorist and my opinions do not reflect Alan Mercer, not all to all party members and officials; but I can not say it doesn't, that is for them issue by issue, subissue by subissue. In fact I wonder how much Alan Mercer speaks for the Party, it's members, and officials in totality; but the officials are the ones who share the blame. Especially for policy. Let it be known they did not suggest another riding, but I will also say I relate to no riding better than to this one and Vancouver-Burrard Provincially.

    • IV-15-2008: Put my name forward for Party Leader in 2008: Stood up for freedoms, including the Liberty of Voting Members to choose their Candidate and challenge them without being coerced out of it, and many other things as a minarchist libertarian. If your at the convention I'll need someone who can say something on my behalf as a leadership Candidate, let me know if you don't mind or know something. If you decided on the convention, it would be an easier decision if they couldn't threaten no confidence votes as part of the fixed election date.

IV-25-2007: Note: I mean not to discourage people who disagree on one or two issues, sometimes how we apply issues to the voting principles differ, I myself respect that and would like to see more internal debate and learn more about how others see the voting principles apply to their principles and knowlledge; or what they know up to now. The voting principles and the principles of Guranteeing Liberty are important and that is what I fight for in this Vancouver Centre issue, and I expect the party to recognize it. Means position may differ, also what you see as interfearing with the life of others and forcing and defrauding among the others. Bring your voice if you feel in agreement, I myself do not follow some limitation on low league philosophy like Von Mises or Rand. I go beyond it. I do not voice some lock step parochial Libertarian Voice, and so far barely tolerated, ask yourself do you agree with voting principles and are you intellectually tolerant, do you have sense of humor and tolerate speech? Position on Guns and Privacy and look at the US Constitution as well. Agree with anything there down to Bill of Rights #10? You might be useful to the party.

    XII-15-2007
Protest Vancouver-Centre, Coquitlam Libertarians and other BCLP establishment, Alan J Mercer's and maybe or board members or even Brisson's seat if Vancouver-Centre or any other voting member is denied their choice of nominee and a nomination contest/meeting with willing or dafted contenders. If the party doesn't stand for Liberty, why vote for the party, or at least the hand out Candidacies and those who handed them out by appointment. They are made official candidates, they are officials, temporal, but none-the-less. Appointment makes it more an official. You should choose it, look up liberty and arbitrary rule. Look up Libertarian. You'll see this is not it. I am seeking signatures, see me and want to sign living in VanCentre, feel free. I am running as an Inde or rhio-Libertarian. Or as a Libertarian or not at all if a contest is held accepting the result, but never endorce Clarke after this.
    X-21-2007
Oppose the John E. Clarke Candidate handout as well, go online, contact Alan J Mercer and Mr. Brisson and tell them, become new Vancouver-Centre members and demand your Liberty as Rank-n-File members to vote for your choice Candidate of the two, or more, there are. Maybe demand one from Clarke, who is the contact. It's your right as a Voting Member to have a Liberty over who is your Candidate when there is a choice and there is.
Clarke vs. Buday. I recognize it as contest, just denied by arbitrary bully tactics, trying to force me and others to run in ridings they don't feel suited for, I am a West Ender at heart. Help to raise funds for them with donations marked, "For Having Nomination Contest in Van-Centre" or something. It's your free will not the party's, not mine, and not Clarke's or Geddes's, we all have an our own as individuals.
Also Neighbour, Vancouver-Quadra will need a Candidate for a Dec 3rd By-Election. Vancouver-East will need one as well for General Elections comming, who knows when....
    VI-02-2007
Perhaps lacking interest in upsetting the WCLF/Paul Geddes rabble, perhaps the lack of interest in losening a grip of importance and establishmentarian opposition to Liberty, they have yet to even establish a single Constituency association and the Ontario Voting Memembers seem to feel that John Clarke prefers to have handed to him what voting members of the party should have a right to decide and is merited. I don't know what John Clarke's opinion is on this, but Paul Geddes likes to do all the qualifying according to him and he's from Coquitlam; I lived and would like to return to the West End. I do not know if Clarke opposes Liberty or choosing the candidate from the rank'n'file levels (VMs) but Geddes in Coquitlam and the Ontario VMs on the Board feel happy to deny this Liberty. Really there should be more activity by members, and Riding Associations, I suggested if the lack of one is their (lousy) reasoning or self justification for denying a nomination contest they should have no contest and no endorced Candidate; maybe it would inspire the building of an RA. I understand why these issues scare people from the party, but keep in mind, so far I got away with putting up this dirty laundry. So it could be worse. I doubt the Tories would do this. If you want someone else as a Vancouver-Centre, I suggest telling in public letters as a voting member (always have them at least bcced to usenet, a blog, or real website; it could go ignored otherwise, we should trust people, but party is run by a governance and governance can't be trusted as well as an individual.). Frankly one should be more active at least to this point. I stand for individualism and a party doesn't own me, I entrust the LPC with my support for now, but not this hand out Candidate, nothing personal against him but the process, well lack of one. There is nothing Libertarian about this. Even if he's autorenewed as a Candidate, another silly reason. Never know what could happen, he could join another party as an NDP or PMP Candidate. Politics in BC is like that very funny, people turn their coats like it's filled with Bill Clintons and spmetimes by surprise such as Neufeld (BCREF -> LIB) and Wiesgerber (BCREF -> LIB -> IND). Ujjal Dosanj. Many others. I only pray I don't end up turning into one who preys. I will run as a Write-In Candidate, totally unregulated, unofficial, and it's no more a spoiled ballot than the list of Candidates, just takes a Silver Gel Pen. At least it's a vote for a vote if nothing else.
    V-10-2007
The Party has it's problems, but if you see them you can sort them out, usually the party is stuck with the best members as the most inactive because they feel outnumbered by the power mongering. It will never change. Yes running is hard because of the expenses, the current value of 10 dollars CDN and 2 signatures should be limit required to run and use your liberty and offer options for the liberty to be used in the other way. Debate access should be more open. But things like running, starting Squidoo lenses to advocate, post the votiing member principles, no need to be preachie if you don't want to; it's usually best, to city cylenders and other legal spots for posters. Mention in passing when you can. Start Website or, to a lesser extent a blog. Send donations, send Newsletter Submissions, Try Request, Show Support for, or Draft a Candidate for Nomination to the Party. Voice your opinions. Send letters to the editor, post to usenet news groups like Van.General,BC.Politics,ALT.POLITICS.LIBERTARIAN,ALT.FREEDOM,Can.Politics,etc... I won't recomment shame or pride, a humble support for your philosophical position is wonderful and a right, hold your head up just show with respectful agreement and disagreement as you see fit and remember it's completely anarchism or full of anarchists. Libertarianism is a balanced view and belief in free will and personal responsibility Cafe Press has verious Libertarian (Generic and Unofficial and US) Stuff to get and show support with it. I set some up, I found something with a "Proud of my Libertarian Values" granted proud seems a little much but the button is pleasant. Anyway these things can be done many ways. There are very few active members contacting the president and leader, so I am told, if you want me to forward it I will send it to them, or if you feel better it's correspondence with a party official and you can Bcc: it to people so know one knows everyone who knows you sent it but you and them, and you can post it on usenet and sites and blogs and lenses as a public letter; spread your view. Link here or to the official party site, or all LPC and LP sites you can. LPEDIA.org accepts Canadian Libertarian Contributions. Have fun and it's no pressure but being heard never hurt anyone, silencing usually hurts more in the long run. Thanks, and best from Gölök ZLF Buday.
    IV-24-2007
According to Elections Canada the first section of the rules regulating nominations require a competition for the nomination if more than one human being places him or herself forward, which to my knowlledge, in Vancouver Centre there are two, me and the selected John Clarke, John Clarke even if lost could have been picked accordind to section 4 of the rules if the party disagrees with the other option(s) winning, conduct not becoming of a Libertarian, but it could have happened. None-the-less needlessly the Libertarian Party Vancouver Centre Rank'n'File were denied. Funny thing if the party did not register, they would be completely unregulated in this regard signing up officially independent Candidates, much like the unrecognized but poinient write-in campaigns. More
    II-28-2007
Is it likely I'll run in the next federal in Van-Centre? No it's likely to be handed to Clarke, John of the Geddes BC Libertarian nomination within; I am considered, "bad publicity," however I doubt it will even allow a nomination opposition, which is a problem; too many paranoid tyrranical types running the show in BC. Not to discourage, I encourage more grass roots action and open opposition to them or support, I don't care, just be heard. Sadly Clarke would just make for another whire bread list on the ballot; the darkest in the past has been Connie Fogal. By Name, a sort mutt cossak.
None the less if I run it will be likely as an independent against the LPBC Candidate.
    X-30-2006
Due to disagreements, and my declaration of not being a anarchist and not wanting to be confused for one, and some other "issues," Pres. Alan J. Mercer I am no longer officially the non-official East Vancouver Contact and am temporary barred from being decided by the rank-in-file if I am a Candidate as LPC or not and have no replacement yet; I am independent, I may still offer aide, like information, to those who do not want the less philosophical and erudite establismentarians in the party who sound like Marijuanna obsessives. Perhaps the Party will replace my Ink Jet Carts that a juiced out, I'll have to ask; after all the signs I placed. Maybe I'll consider it a donation, at this point being a member and tolerating their petty attacks may donation enough. I am reconsidering being of electronic aide to Clarke being part of the BCLP Establishment which is and isn't independent of the LPC
I expressed interest towards an indipendent or Libertarian run, I gave the LPC the option. I support the voting principles lived most my life in the West End and want to move back; yes also want honestly use it to run a spring board to the Mayors seat (as a semi-parody) and make a point about policy and the strategic destruction of the Nanny State. Now it looks unlikely the LPC will do anything but appease the BC Establishment, meaning Clarke is it, and no liberty about it. In other words debate or vote on it. Another thing having it out against Fry and Mayencourt even Carr sounds good and I think a name that doesn't spell out the usuall white bread couldn't hurt, the crust is on my bread and my name says it, some might say Falafel but that's Mayencour...Bush's "Patriot" act talking; easy mistake. Safe Streets, more redundant laws and no enforcement and Safe Schools; softening up nerds even more. What brilliance, Where's the Fire Hedy Fry and Adrian Carr who took a minor party bailer as a Campaign Manager is nothing to realy be pleased with. What's left the NDP who are so collective they support a law that makes them all at falt all of their shit, proportional representation, or vote for party and they appoint your rep. based on their assesment of the proportional votes....a shitty commie state with a supreme council not a legislature. There's one Oligarchy as it is, like changing it to another will fix anything. Greens and the NDP love it because Communists somehow, easily fixed, well easier. One National vote versus many federal ones. Fry, Carr, Mayencourt, Gareson, and then Clarke? Likely Frei as well, Scand. Pal is usually more random riding wise and maybe he'd look although you'd need to know alot about Hungarian names to spot that one, plus he's with a Theocratic Heritage Party. Then again the NDP supported Reverends as have the NDP and Tories; not to mention the Divine right of the Queen.

We need people like you who share in the belief that liberty is right and necessary for Canada's future. The other parties stand opposed to the concepts of individual liberty and wish to continue the tradition of denying the rights of individuals to make their own choices and govern their own lives. The Libertarian Party of Canada represents the alternative philosophy of liberty. Join the Libertarian Party and help us take a stand for personal and economic freedom in Canada.

Contact E-Mail, Going to Gölök Z Buday (mostly a West Ender in the life and would be again residency if Dogs weren't shunned by reasonbly priced places), given Clarke's E-Limitation; I am sort of a unofficial e-contact for Van Centre Libertarians and will pass on what I can. Now he's got a hotmail address, if you accept them, so I have less of a burden, contact him to support the anti-liberty Geddes caucus, he is the tentative 2007 election that might happen Candidate in Van-Centre aside from my write-in decision, draft or independent run. The LP went boys club there way with this they know I was open to be an alternative and thought PR may be at risk, so decided to deny the rank n'file the liberty to vote and hear arguments, showing the need for a new guard of LPC members who respect Liberty and Grass Roots Nominations.

    Libertarian Party Statement of Principles
We, the members of the Libertarian Party, support the following principles:
    1. Each individual has the right to his or her own life, and this right is the source of all other rights.
    2. Property rights are essential to the maintenance of those rights.
    3. In order that these rights be respected, it is essential that no individual or group initiate the use of force or fraud against any other.
    4. In order to bar the use of force or fraud from social relationships and to place the use of retaliatory force under objective control, human society requires an institution charged with the task of protecting individual rights under an objective code of rules. This is the basic task of, and the only moral justification for, government.
    5. The only proper functions of government whose powers must be constitutionally limited, are:
    (a) Settling, according to objective laws, disputes among individuals, where private , voluntary arbitration has failed;
    (b) Providing protection from criminals;
    (c) Providing protection from foreign invaders.
    6. As a consequence of all the above, every individual, as long as he or she respects the rights of others, has the right to live as he or she alone sees fit, as a free trader on a free market.
Our Constitution provides for two types of membership: Member and Voting Member. Only Voting Members may vote at Party conventions, hold elected office or appointed positions in the Party or run as candidates for the Party.

This is why I don't trust computers; allthough Centrist Libertarian or Centrist Centre; may evem out; if variables weren't limited to a few choice issues and less stocked questions. It's all how a question is asked or issue presented and can't come up with a proper answer, polls aren't too different. Too much logic, not enough creativity. No Philosophical soul or soul at all.
